Vintage Treasure Chest

I modeled and textured this weathered treasure chest as an exploration into look development methods & software. Making convincingly aged materials, particularly wood, was a great exercise in research & close looking. It's amazing how much storytelling can go into an inanimate object through texturing, whether it's scratches from use patterns, hand grime on high-traffic surfaces, or cracks and buildup around fixtures.
